The Nutrition Student Association (AMAZI) of the BEM Faculty of Public Health (FKM) Universitas Airlangga has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to advancing the world of nutrition by successfully organizing a flagship work program, “ILMAGI Goes To Campus (IGTC)”, on Saturday, March 8, 2025. This program, which is specifically designed to implement Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, Quality Education, is a very valuable educational platform for nutrition students from various universities in Indonesia. IGTC aims to introduce in depth professional organizations relevant to the field of nutrition, namely ILMAGI (Association of Indonesian Nutrition Student Institutions), AOMKI (Alliance of Indonesian Health Student Organizations), and BIMGI (Indonesian Nutrition Student Information Agency).
Through IGTC, AMAZI seeks to bridge the information gap and provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the roles, functions, and benefits that can be obtained from active involvement in these organizations. This understanding is expected to motivate students to develop their potential, expand their professional networks, and contribute significantly to the world of nutrition after graduation. The event, which was held online through the Zoom Meeting platform, succeeded in attracting high enthusiasm from the participants, who were eager to gain direct insight from competent and experienced speakers. The four invited speakers, namely Nadya Rasyida Azzah from ILMAGI, Indira Dwi Intan from BIMGI, Nurma Dwi Himata Solly from IAD ILMAGI, and Bella Christa from AOMKI, gave informative and inspiring presentations.
They not only explained the profiles and work programs of their respective organizations, but also shared valuable experiences they gained during their time in the organization. The participants also had the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers through a question and answer session, which allowed them to gain clarification and deeper understanding. IGTC not only provides benefits in the form of broad knowledge and insight, but also provides an opportunity for participants to get an e-certificate as proof of participation. In addition, free registration makes this event accessible to all nutrition students who are interested in developing themselves. Through IGTC, AMAZI BEM FKM UNAIR hopes to contribute significantly in creating a generation of nutrition students who are broad-minded, competent, and have integrity, and are able to make a positive contribution to the advancement of the world of nutrition in Indonesia.
