Nutrition Big Event (NUTRIBE) is one of the flagship work programs of the Scientific and Scientific Division of AMAZI BEM FKM UNAIR. NUTRIBE 2023 raises the main theme, “The Important Role of Gen Z in Synergizing to Reduce Undernutrition Rates and Realize Healthy Living”. NUTRIBE consists of a series of NutResearch activities and also the NUTRIBE Webinar. NutResearch is an LKTI and Infographic competition held for high school students and college students at the national level. NutReasearch is carried out in a hybrid manner, where the peak of its implementation is carried out offline on Saturday (04/11/23) at RK 12 and RK 13, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Airlangga. The NUTRIBE webinar was held on Sunday (05/11/23) online via Zoom Meeting.
The implementation of each NutReasearch series raises its theme. NutResearch activities for the Scientific Writing Competition branch raised the theme, “Empowerment of Sustainable Local Food Resilience as Prevention of Undernutrition Disease”, while the Infographic Competition branch raised the theme, “Service Program Innovation, Technology, and Media in Preventive Efforts to Utilize Local Food as Prevention of Undernutrition Disease”.
The NUTRIBE 2023 webinar raised the theme, “How to Restore Wrong Dietary Habits as The Impact of Undernutrition”. This activity began at 08.30 am and was hosted by Anisah Firdaus Rahmawati, S.Gz as the master of ceremony and Az-Zahra Helmi Putri Rahayu as the moderator. The activity opened with a prayer and singing the national anthem, Indonesia Raya. After that, it was continued with remarks delivered by the Chief Executive of NUTRIBE 2023, Nabiilah Faizah. Chairperson of AMAZI, Salwa Naura Kamila. Chairperson of BEM FKM UNAIR, Chrisna Nur Hadyandiono, as well as the Head of S1 Nutrition Program, Emyr Reisha Isaura, M.PH., PhD. and the Head of Nutrition Department, Dr. Siti Rahayu Nadhiroh, SKM., M.Kes.
The NUTRIBE 2023 webinar activity was filled by various speakers who are qualified in their fields. The first speaker session was delivered by Dr. Anto Cordelia Tanislaus Antony Dhanapal, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Science, Faculty of Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Perak, Malaysia. Dr. Anto delivered the material entitled “The Role of AI on Shaping Precision Nutrition”. The second session was delivered by Agus Sri Wardoyo, S.KM., M.M. as the Chairperson of the East Java Association of Indonesian Nutritionists. Mr. Agus delivered the material entitled “The Power of Local Food: Overcoming Barriers and Sustaining Positive Changes of Dietary Habits in Preventing Undernutrition”. After the second speaker session was over, the webinar participants were invited to take a break.
After the break, it was continued with the third presentation session. The third session was delivered by Dominikus Raditya Atmaka, S.Gz., MPH. as a lecturer at the Department of Nutrition FKM UNAIR. Mr. Domi delivered the material entitled “Transforming Diet Habits and Combating Undernutrition through Technological Advancements”. The fourth speaker session was delivered by Audy Aprillia, S.Gz., a Nutritionist Influencer, who delivered material entitled “Digital Health Interventions: Explore How Social Media Can Be Used to Improve the Health and Nutrition Status of Undernutrition”.
After the entire series of presentations was over, the NutResearch 2023 winners were announced and rewards were given to the 3 best questioners. The NutResearch 2023 Scientific Writing competition in the Student category was won by the Nur Aziseh team from Airlangga University as 1st place. The Alfina Putri Rakhmadiyah team from Brawijaya University won 2nd place, and the Sofiatun Annayah team from Darussalam Gontor University won 3rd place. For the Scientific Writing branch in the SMA / SMK / Equivalent category, the Angelia Felisa Kustianti team from SMA 1 Taman won 1st place. The Nasywa Ala Khansa team from SMK Farmasi Surabaya won 2nd place, and the Putu Gede Reinanta Widiarsana team from SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar won 3rd place.
The NutResearch 2023 Infographic competition in the Student category was won by the Feby Tristiana Kurbaini team from the University of Jember in 1st place. Fahira Firdausi’s team from Airlangga University won 2nd place, and Batrisyia Rumidzati’s team from the University of Jember won 3rd place. For the Infographic branch in the SMA / SMK / Equivalent category, the Reni Septia Wulandari team from SMK Farmasi Surabaya won 1st place. The Nabila Salsabila Firdaus team from SMK Farmasi Surabaya won 2nd place, and the Kalyca Athaya Shafakirana team from SMA Syafana Islamic School.
